Neo Pharisees

Below you will find an outline based on Matthew 23 on how a “Pharisee” looks like today. The Neo-Pharisees: have a distorted view of community. (vv 13-14)   With their theory of us vs. them they make hard that some might have a vibrant relationship with God. Preface: Once Upon a Time...

O nce upon a time, there was a prince who lived in a land very far away.  This prince loved his king very much, and decided he would go to an unconquered territory and capture the land for his king.  The prince just knew that wherever he went that all he would need to do is speak the name of his king, and all would bow to his great king. The prince searched high and low, and finally discovered a realm that was ruled by a horribly evil ruler.  The prince went to his king with his request, and was granted the authority to travel to the land.  The prince went and believed beyond doubt that he could free the land and all it's inhabitants from the grips of a very evil tyrant.
